We are excited to announce the 2026 #BHMPatternDesigners Luxury Sewing Retreat! After the overwhelming response to registration in 2024, which sold out in just one week, we are thrilled to do it again in 2026. Based on feedback from our current retreat attendees and inquiries from others, next year’s event will be held on a weekend. Mark your calendars for Thursday, February 12th through Sunday, February 15th 2026! It will be held at the exact same location as this year’s retreat: JORDAN RANCH RETREAT CENTER. REGISTRATION IS NOW LIVE! Secure your spot with a deposit in the amount of $90. Once you have secured your spot you will receive an email with a payment plan (full payment 3,4, 6, 8, 9 ,10 or 11 month payment plan options will be available).
Because this will be held over the Valentine’s Weekend, we have some SPECIAL plans for the attendees, including a field trip. WHAT IS THE TOTAL COST OF THE RETREAT? $1,465 (Does not include cost of shuttle), but includes EVERYTHING from the Trouser Fitting Workshop, Sewing Machines, All Sewing Supplies, Food, Goodie Bags, Lodging, Field Trip Accommodations AND SO MUCH MORE!! AFTER DEPOSIT of $90, a total of $1,375 will be due

HOW MUCH IS DUE TO SECURE MY SPOT? $90.00, which is due now. The week of March 23, 2025 everyone that have paid their registration will be sent a link to choose the payment plan option best for them. All payments must be finalized by January 31, 2026. We are allowing up to 11 months for a payment plan, but that will mean you will need to start your payment plan no later than March 31, 2025 if you want a full 11 months to pay your balance.
WHAT ARE THE LODGING OPTIONS? Lodging (all lodging will be double-occupancy only, no exceptions) You will be paired with someone or you can list who you would like to room with when you receive your payment plan link.
WHAT ABOUT FOOD? All Food (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks and Social events held on the property ONLY) will be provided.
DO I NEED TO BRING MY SEWING MACHINE? Sewing Machines PLUS: Sewing Tools, Notions and Supplies will be provided for use. You only need to bring any special projects you want to work on. JUST BRING YOURSELF ready to have a SEWING GOOD TIME!
WILL WE TAKE A TRIP TO A FABRIC STORE(s)? YES, we have planned a day trip to INCLUDE fabric shopping. More details will be shared as it gets closer to the event.
IS THERE A THEME FOR THE RETREAT? Yes, it’s #BHMPatternDesigners, so that means plan to wear or showcase something from a Black Pattern Designer. There will be a Fashion Show, so get ready to strut down the runway.
DO YOU OFFER SHUTTLE SERVICE? Yes, it will be $150 per person and covers your pick up and drop off. You can add on shuttle service to your payment plan. The two shuttle options are from: George Bush International Airport and Austin International Airport. I SUGGEST YOU LOOK AT BOTH OPTIONS TO SEE WHICH IS MORE BENEFICIAL FOR YOU TO FLY IN AND OUT OF.
WILL THERE BE A DESIGNATED SHUTTLE PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF TIME? Absolutely, we will provide the time in which you should arrange for your flights starting in April. This gives time for airlines to post their schedules. How it works, if we designate your shuttle pick-up time from George Bush to be 2pm CST, your flight will need to have arrived in plenty of time to take the shuttle. There is only ONE shuttle pick-up and drop-off window.
WHAT ELSE IS INCLUDED? Goodie Bags, Retreat Tshirt (new design coming next year), games AND MORE….which will be a surprise, I LOVE SURPRISES!
CAN YOUR GIVE AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT A PAYMENT PLAN WOULD LOOK LIKE? Your payment plan must be completed by January 31, 2026. Remember, if you require shuttle service you need to take that also into consideration. SEE example below:

If no roommate is chosen, you will be paired up with someone. All payments must be finalized by January 31, 2026. Refund Policy: I understand that sometimes unexpected circumstances arise and plans may change, which is why I have a refund policy in place. I want to make sure that my attendees are fully aware of the policy so that there are no surprises.
Please note that all deposits made are non-refundable and non-transferrable. However, I do offer the option to transfer your registration and any fees paid to someone on the waitlist, should you are unable to attend for any reason. If we are able to get someone on the waitlist to take your place, you will be reimbursed for what you paid EXCEPT the deposit amount. Please keep in mind that this is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
If you need to cancel your registration, I ask that you do so no later than September 1, 2025. If you cancel before this date, a 50% cancellation fee will be assessed. Unfortunately, I cannot offer any refunds for cancellations made after September 1, 2025.
